I'm afraid fate defines that more assuredly than I....

Well it sure has been a long month already! Thanksgiving is soon to be upon us with Turkeys and other things. But, there is so much more at hand!

This is my selfish plea to all those with eyes to see and ears to ear (you'll need your ears in a little bit, hang on).

All of you need to direct your attention over to http://www.myspace.com/andrewrcharron and listen to the fabulous music that inhabits that small corner of the World Wide Web. I have CDs for sale that I would love to give you and write your own little personalize message on the CD.

Also, you need to engage in a listening adventure with Mr. Mark Beasley:
http://www.virb.com/markbeasley

He's some crazy kind of mix between Jack Johnson, Jason Mraz and Van Morrison. It's glorious. Let him know what you think of his music. He recently broke his finger so I don't think he'll be putting additional music up before Christmas but he's a great artist and you should support him.

Thanks for the eyes! Thanks for the ears! Shalom to all and have a Happy Thanksgiving!

Tuesday is coming, did you bring your coat?

Tomorrow is election day. it's always a tense time around the nation. It's not like sports teams and it's not like your favorite musician. This is something completely different. Your favorite artist winning a grammy doesn't change how much money you owe the government. Your favorite sports team not winning the championship doesn't mean you're going to have to save more money than you usually do or make another retirement fund. The sad thing is, we all seem so much more interested in things other than the election.

For some of us it's school, concentrating on classes to get us through the rest of our academic career so that we can graduate and find a good job and support a family some day. The sad thing is, without the right candidate, there might be no jobs for you. If there are jobs they might not pay enough. If they pay enough they might not pay what you would really like.

Some of us are more concerned with serving our country. I'm not saying this isn't a noble deed, because I am not one to mock the people fighting for my freedom. I'm saying some of them show little concern for what's going on. But I would show concern. You're choosing who you want to fight for.

Many of us are just concerned with ourselves. Our money, our time, our families, our things, our shiny stuff that means nothing. Just keep in mind: depending on who the president will be after this year, none of your stuff may be worth anything. That means making money is pointless and the time spent making money is as well. Then all you have left is your families. What do you suppose those are based on then?
