Day 9 - "Let God arise! Our God reigns now and forever!"

For those just joining us, read Day 1's caveat.

For those who have been reading, I never truly intended to expound as much as I have been. However, I can say without hesitation that Christ has been changing my motives, my expressions, my excitement, my reactions, my love towards other people, and especially the song that is constantly on my heart. The biggest theme these past couple of days is God's eternal nature. His power and His reign over creation. Nothing flashy, no fancy words. Majesty. Holy. Holy. Holy.

Our God REIGNS!

Psalm 93

 - The Lord is king! He is robed in majesty.

Indeed, the Lord is robed in majesty and armed with strength.

The world stands firm and cannot be shaken.

 - Your throne, O Lord has stood from time immemorial.

You yourself are from the everlasting past.

 - THe floods have risen up, O Lord.

The floods have roared like thunder,

the floods have lifte dtheir pounding waves.

 - But mightier than the violent raging of the seas,

mightier than the breakers on the shore--

the Lord above is mightier than these!

 - Your royal laws cannot be changed.

Your reign, O Lord, is holy forever and ever.
